Buffalo Slow Rolling Event
Middle School Students
We meet in the gym for an ice breaker, do a fun activity that incorporates readings from Mass that day, play a game in the gym or a board game in the cafeteria, and end with prayer and pizza. Friends are always welcome, or come alone to make new friends!
High School Students
Zero Hour is a monthly youth group gathering for high school teens. We meet in the cafeteria for a quick Bible Study, share videos that inspire our faith, sometimes enjoy speakers, find time for a game or fun activity, and end with pizza.
Open Gym Night is just a fun night to gather, play games, and enjoy pizza and friends. Teens are always welcome to bring friends to our events, even if their friends are not parishioners, or Catholic.
Young Adult monthly events are usually at another site, and we try to consistently meet on the final Friday of each month. In July we hiked to the Eternal Flame, and went to Five Guys for dinner. In the winter we may ice skate or do curling at Canalside, or go to the Carmelite Monastery for Divine Mercy Chaplet, and hit a coffee shop after. We periodically hold a Bible Study for young adults, which has been well-attended. Our young adults are busy with college and work, but recognize that they need more, and have asked for it. We cannot let them down!
