When are Masses held?

We offer Mass & Prayer Sessions in person or via live stream.

Durring our COVID-19 pandemic, you can watch Mass & Prayer sessions live from the comfort of your home on any device (computer, tablet, smart phone) via our YouTube channel. Simply click the button below to watch live and archived sessions.

The Lord’s Day:

  • Vigial Mass – Saturday at 4:30pm
  • Sunday Masses are at 7:00am, 9:00am and 11:00am

Daily Mass Schedule (September – June):

  • Monday, Wednesday & Friday at 8:00am and 10:30am
  • Tuesday & Thursday at 6:30am and 10:30am

Daily Mass Schedule (July & August)

  • Monday through Friday 8:00am and 10:30am
  • Saturday at 8:00am

When are Confessions held?

We offer reconciliation on Mondays from 6:30-7:00pm,
Wednesdays from 4:00-5:00p, Saturdays from 3:30-
4:30pm and at other times by request.

How can I reach a priest in case of an emergency?

Dial 716-836-0011. A receptionist will assist you during business hours.  After hours, your call will be directed to an emergency extension and a priest will return your call shortly.

How can I or my family watch mass virtually?

Simply click the button below your are linked right to our YouTube Channel where anyone can watch our Masses at their convenience on any device via Live Stream!  All Masses are archived on our YouTube Channel as well.


Is there Bingo?

Bingo games have been suspended due to COVID_19 pandemic restrictions.

Why should I register as a parishoner?

We encourage all who worship regularly at St. Amelia or who have recently moved into our area to register with us. Registration allows us to communicate with you, helps us to serve you, and is required for the celebration of certain Sacraments, Letters of Recommendation and School tuition discount

When should I call for annointing of the sick?

Please Contact the Rectory Office at 716-836-0011 prior to any serious surgery or whenever seriously ill to schedule the sacrament. It is not necessary or recommended to wait until death is imminent.

How do I schedule a Mass Intention?

You may offer a Mass of special intention or for the deceased at either weekday Mass or most of the Masses on Sunday. Requests should be made in the parish office during the week from 9 am to 4 pm. The suggested stipend is $15.00.

Is Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament available?

The Miraculous Medal Novena and Adoration is held on Monday evenings at from 6:00-7:30 pm in the Church. 

Additionally, all parishioners are invited to join us for 12 hours of continuous Eucharistic Adoration from 8:00 pm on the First Friday of every month until 8:00 am on the First Saturday.  This ministry is organized by the Emmaus group and sign up sheets are available each month in the narthex. Come join us for prayer and quiet time with our Lord in His presence.

When is the Rosary recited?

The Most Holy Rosary is recited on Monday, Wednesday and Friday after 8:00am Mass.

The Rosary for Life is recited on Mondays at 6:40pm.

How do I borrow medical equipment?

The Outreach Ministry includes a Medical Supplies Lending Program.   Walkers, wheelchairs and transport chairs, canes, commodes, dressing aids, bath and bed rails, bath chairs, and even Hoyer lifts are lent out with no charge to people who cannot afford these items.  St. Amelia Outreach is now recommended to people leaving Kenmore Mercy Hospital, if their insurance does not cover needed equipment.  Several physical and occupational therapists visit each week for their clients.  We are the largest agency in the Northtowns to provide this service.  They are open Monday-Thursday from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm.  You may call directly at 716-832-2542.

How do I request prayers?

If you wish to add a name for prayer, please call the Parish Office at 716-836-0011.  Our office hours are Monday through Friday 8:30am until 4:30pm.  Names will be entered into the bulletin for all to pray for.
