The Holy Name Society helps men meet their spiritual and social needs. In monthly evening meeting, and the first Tuesday, September through June, begins with prayer and rosary, then a short meeting about the organization. There is then a guest speaker on the topic of interest. Then a social hour follows with food and refreshments.
Members attend mass as a group at 9 am on the second Sunday of each month, and mass is followed by a continental breakfast in the cafeteria, to which all parishioners are welcome.
In May we have flowers for the Mothers of the parish, and in December we have a visit from Santa Claus for the children. There are events throughout the year that we either run or help with, Pot of Gold, Music Fest, and others. We also do an annual Holy Name Stag event with a steak dinner, and great comradery, and for a very reasonable price. We also try to do an annual parish retreat, and many other activities and purposes. Blessed John of Vercelli—is our patron Saint.
