Fellowship and Service are important aspects of our faith family life. There are numerous activities for all ages from babysitting available during Mass to an active and vibrant senior group. Liturgical Ministries include all those ministries that support Mass participation. Parish Ministries reach out to the parish as a whole while community ministries provide services to Tonawanda and the surrounding areas.
YOUTH & YOUNG ADULT MINISTRIES

Youth in Grades 6-8 are invited to take part in S.A.L.T. (Stand And Live Truth). Fun activities involving the Sunday Gospel reading or a seasonal theme are followed by group discussions, and ways to apply what they learn to their daily lives. We will follow up with a game.
Our Young Adult group is open to recent high school graduates through age 39. We meet on the Wisdom Wednesday (every other Wednesday) of most months, either on campus or out in the world, to keep our young church connected to Jesus. Past activities include hiking to the Eternal Flame or Devil’s Hole, Bible Study, a visit to Allentown Art Festival, volunteering at a soup kitchen, kickball or soccer against nearby churches, and making soup for Outreach volunteers.
Dates and times for all of these are posted on the bulletin board in the narthex, on the church website, and in the weekly church bulletin. If you have questions about these programs, please contact Kathy Waite, our Youth Minister, at 716-491-8269 youth@stamelia.com or youngadult@stamelia.com and you can also find out more details by clicking the youth & young adult ministry button below.
