We are happy to announce and welcome to our St. Amelia Parish Family  – Rev. Charles Johnson who was ordained by Bishop Michael Fischer on Saturday, June 5, 2021. It is with enthusiasm and joy that we open our hearts and parish for his arrival the week of June 21st. His assignment as parochial vicar with us will be for a term of three years.

Father Charles Johnson is a native of Grand Island with his home parish being St. Stephen Parish. His educational studies took him to SUNY Empire State College where he earned a B.S. in Business Management and Economics. His work experience provided him with 20 plus years in Information Technology in the Health Care field. He is a recent graduate of Christ the King Seminary where he received a Masters of Divinity Degree. We welcome you, Father Charles Johnson to St. Amelia and pledge our support, prayers and love for you.
